Hello everyone! How is your weekend going, any nice wins to report? A couple of small wins here of a bundle of coloured icing from the Renshaw Baking #FridayFreebie on Twitter and a £20 Amazon voucher from a Twitter party. To be fair I think I must have participated in about five Twitter parties last week so I am really glad that my efforts paid off and I actually won a prize! This will go nicely towards the big grand plan of Christmas as we seem to fund our entire festive decorations from Amazon these days! Ihad a pretty good month for October though winning 11 prizes in total worth about £120 in value. Let’s take a quick look at what I won:
- A snail print retro coaster, from a Twitter comp
- A twin pack of Cameron Diaz DVDs, from a Facebook comp
- A children’s baking book, from a twitter comp
- A Lady Bug night light, from a blog comp
- A surprise Wild Pets Spider, from a kids’ magazine comp
- A surprise colouring book, from Primary Times online
- 2 shopper bags, form a Facebook giveaway
- A book, from a local Isle of Wight competition on Facebook
- A £10 Amazon voucher, from the J2O Blippar comp
- An icing bundle, from a Twitter comp
- A £20 Amazon Voucher, form a Twitter party
I think my favourite wins this month were probably the Amazon vouchers, as these go towards funding the Christmas decorations and accessories that we always seem to end up spending a ton of money on. I managed to win a few nice Christmas presents this month though, so I am now officially done buying gifts! Anything else I win now will go as extra gifts for my girls or family members. How are you doing with your shopping, have you started yet?
So, let’s see what all our lovely members have been winning this month:
VillageFox had a lovely start to the month winning such fantastic prizes as a £25 Love2Shiop voucher in a Twitter party, tickets to a Christmas Pantomime, a BBQ party game from a newsletter comp, a Nick Jr bundle from a blog comp and a Dermaguard bundle from Let’s Knit – what a lovely haul! Goatinaboat had another great month of wins including s surprise Fuji Instax Mini camera and a Benefit eye palette from the Wamo app, and Pamelacook’s cat Monty had a puuuurfect win of some gourmet cat food for participating in the Free Cat Lottery! Dancemother had a fab, useful win last month of a Now TV box and a year’s free subscription, and Gorts17 won some more nooks and also tickets for the Baby Show in Manchester. Hamish666 had a copy of Danny Collins turn up on DVD from Empire and Joan broke her dry spell by receiving a book from Caboodle and a £100 John Lewis voucher from Smooth Radio. JoanneMinky’s daughter won a great prize of an iPod Mini from a children’s competition this month, which I am sure she is thrilled about, and Kslade had some great wins too including £100 fuel voucher from the Lucozade daily entry comp. Xxme2uxx has had a break from comping but now she is back and has had a great haul for October including a box of cookies, a Newgate alarm clock, a potty training bundle, a personalised Xmas plaque, a £200 Belgravia black diamond knife set and a stampin’ up project kit – what a great selection of prizes, well done!
It was great to hear about LauraJames wins this month, as she seems to be the queen of the Instagram comp! During October she managed to win a £100 Selfridges voucher complete with shampoo and conditioner from John Frieda, zeo drinks, seeding box and tote bag, a Toblerone bar and a Miffy sensory toy, most of which were won through Instagram comps! I do love comping via Instagram but often forget to go and do them if I am caught up in my regular comps. Laura’s success shows how rewarding Instagram comps can be so why not have a look at my How To Guide and have a go too!
This month’s title of “most prolific comper” has to go to Laura44v who has had a great month! During October she managed to win an amazing selection of prizes including £100 to spend with veewee, a gorgeous dress and a MAC lipstick. However her best win for October has to be the amazing win from Smooth Radio in which you had to say how the internet had made your life better. Laura told them about how she used the internet to find a hiking route for her and her dogs and for her trouble she has won a dog friendly holiday in the Lake District, hiking boots, a GPS system and petrol allowance! I think you will agree that the little bit of extra effort required for this comp was well worth it!
Let us all know how you get on with November’s comps by commenting below with your wins. Don’t forget to upload a photo of your wins too for a chance to win a £50 Vuoucher here.
