Hello again everyone, how is your week going; any nice wins to report? Well we have made it to November! Halloween has been and gone, Bonfire Night is just around the corner, and then we are on the home stretch to my favourite season of the year – Christmas! I was trying to work some very long hours in October, but still managed to sneak a bit of comping time in here and there. I only massaged to win two prizes last month, but I am still happy with them!
- A Disney ideas book from DK Books
- A bubble-gum pink nail varnish, from Benecos on Facebook.
Both of these have immediately been squirreled away into the Christmas box, which is looking fairly nice so far. I am really ramping up my comping efforts now though, trying to get through as many standard competitions as I can before the madness of the Advents is with us in December!
Let’s take a look now at what some of our lovely members have been winning during October 2018:
The winning team of Joan and her husband continued their winning ways last month, bagging such goodies as a DOA Rites of Passage DVD from West Sound, a £100 Clearspring hamper from the Soil Association and a £150 Asus reutter from MacFormat – well done you two! Villagefox managed to add some goodies to her Christmas stash this month including a Foxy Pants game from a blog comp and a scratch and reveal book which arrived with no notice of where it came from - I love a surprise win! Ashley had a surprise Jane Austen mug turn up in the post, which I think is from the Drama TV freebie that they were offering, as I think a few other also won the same prize. Prodigal got in touch to tell us about the haul of prizes they had won during October, which included A Jane Austen mug too, a £50 Edinburgh Woollen Mills voucher from the Express group, tickets to see Estas Tonne from THE LIST, a discount code from the Seabrook’s instant win, a mini cruise from the DFDS instant win and a case of sausages from a Londis Twitter competition – well done! Caustin78 had a great month last month judging by all the great prizes they won – a personalised dinosaur teddy from an Instagram comp, £100 to spend on fashion from another Instagram comp and £100 make up from, yep you guessed it, an Instagram comp! She also won a food hamper form a local Facebook comp, a case of prosecco from a web comp and a case of cider from a Facebook comp - all around to yours for festive drinks I think!
Do let us know how you get on with your November’s comping; we love to read your winners’ stories! Don’t forget to upload a photo of your wins too for a chance to win a £50 voucher here.
I look forward to hopefully being able to share more of my own wins next month, and to reading all about yours!
Happy comping everyone, and lots of Lucky dust to you all!
