Our July Wins

Submitted by SuperluckyDi on Mon, 2013-07-01 10:37

So, it looks like Summer might finally be here - but does that mean you've slowed down your comping in order to spend more time outside in the sunshine? No, of course not - after all, weren't iPads, laptops and smartphones invented so we can sit in a deckchair winning prizes?

PrizeFinder members won some amazing prizes in June - on the Wins post we heard about k8tie's £400 Glossy Box win, lillianni's prize trip to the French Open, kimsly's iPod Touch, lindowal's Galaxy tab from the Asda daily, and sonseyface's Ecobubble. Bimbo16 was so chuffed about finally getting her first win (a Nescafe mug!) that she wrote a poem about it! Preston64 won a prize from my own wish list - a holiday to Jordan! EddieB won a trip to the Azores - and newbie Alan Fox won a break to Verona. I'm jealous!

Good luck for July everyone - post your wins as a comment below, and don't forget to upload a photo to the Winners Page too for a chance to win a £50 voucher in our monthly prize draw!

My wins this month:
Meal for 2 at Wagamama - Tesco/Pyrex recipe comp
Personalised birthday cake - Travel republic video comp
£150 of Brabantia products - Pinterest photo comp
Tennis kit - Robinsons text comp
Butter & Cheese knife set - Steves Leaves instant win
Lunch for 4 - Co-op Twitter
Inkjet printer - Juice Fm

I was wondering how many competions people enter? I have been coming for about 3 weeks and haven't won anything, I have been entering about 200 a day.
Pls let me know
Sinead. X

Sinead, it could just be that you've been unlucky so far...but then again, three weeks isn't a very long time when you consider how many people enter competitions on here.

I have been on this site for a few years now, and in the space of just a month, have won a tiller/cultivator worth £500, and a battery operated lawnmower and hedge trimmer worth together £330.

In the past have also won a £3,000 bathroom, cds, dvds, and various other bits and bobs.

Please just persevere, and you will win something eventually. Not all firms write to tell you that you have won, the first thing you will know about it, is when something turns up out of the blue!

Good Luck, Buster

Hi I enter around 1000 at least and win lots of small prizes a month worth it as every now and then you win big. I do all the comps i want to win daily then comps closing soon for all the little ones seems to work for me. David Keep at it as i have won lots of fantastic prizes but dont worry if i dont its part of my life and fun when the big wins come in.

July has got off to a cracking start with cinema tickets in the Maynards instant win, and today I had a WEM to say I've won the Crumbs and Doilies name a cupcake comp for June, and the prize is one dozen big cupcakes and two dozen small ones!

A quick warning to anyone thinking of entering the next Crumbs and Doilies monthly, they ONLY deliver in London. You can go to their shop in London and pick the prize up, and as I live in Kent this is possible for me, but if you live outside of the South East you might want to give this one a miss. It would be very depressing to win a load of yummy cupcakes then not be able to get them.

Yesterday I got an email from a PR at Honda asking me if I'd got their previous email (which I hadn't) then telling me I'd won a VIP package to the Goodwood festival of speed via them and Marie Clare. They then quoted an address and asked me if I wanted the tickets sent to that address. The address wasn't mine, they had my name right, but they only used my first name. I've replied to tell them my real address but I'm still confused if I've actually won or not. Any advice? And has anyone ever been told they've won a comp in error, and if they have what happens?

Sorted out my muddle with Goodwood festival of speed VIP tickets win, it was redraw as one of the original winners couldn't attend. I've won the redraw, so my husband (who's a huge motor sport fan) and me are off there on Sunday. I'm so excited, big thanks to prizefinder, this is yet another thing I wouldn't have or get to do without you.
