Love Me Do by The Beatles because it was the first 'single' I ever had. I still have it now and I still love the song, however, I am no longer single and cannot marry Paul McCartney any more.

Two less lonely people in the world, by Air Supply which was the opening song on sound track to our wedding video. It really sums up how we both felt and reinforces how lucky we continue to feel now. It's also one of the only songs that my husband can remember the words to!

Areosmith - I don't want to miss a thing.

The night after I meet my husband I heard this song in a club and I realised i feel exactly this way about him.

I listened to it over and over the next day before I sent it to him :)

My husband is the Metallica number 1 fan. His favourite is Enter Sandman. That is my choice for him. His 43rd birthday is coming up in May, and would be the best present!

"Merry Christmas Darling" by the Carpenters. It was the first Christmas for my boyfriend and I and we had to spend it apart, each with our own family. We have spent every Christmas together since and have been married for 37 years.

It would be "The rest of my Life" by Brian McKnight.
and the reason, well before we were a proper couple, Mr G, gave me a blank CD at work one day. I was suffering from insomnia (i work shifts) and Mr G said next time you are awake at 3am, play this CD. 3 months later , at 3 am suffering from insomnia, i stumbled across it and played it. The first line refers to him also being awake at 3am and realising he has fallen in love with me! i was clueless to his feelings. there was and still is a happy ending, just wished i hadnt waited so long to play the CD!

"Take a look at my girlfriend" by Supertramp. 23 years ago my hubby and I had just met but spent the summer apart working on American summer camps. Whenever he heard this song on the radio it made him think of me! Now married and with 2 children we are as much in love as ever.

Just Like Heaven by The Cure - not for me, but my brother in law and his future wife are getting married this year and not long after they met we went to a festival but she couldn't make it and my brother in law called her when the band started this song and it was just so romantic. It will be the song they dance their first dance to.
