Meet Our Latest Winners!

For pancake day every year we make a big deal of decorating and flipping pancakes. As a family these have always been a winner for us. Both for sheet entertainment and prizes.

This year our pancakes won two prizes my daughter Tilly won a £25 just eat voucher on Twitter with her kitty pancake. She spent ages placing ever ingredient perfectly to look like our cat.

Like most people I've been feeling the cost of living pinch more recently. Luckily I've had a few wins in March to give me and my daughter a few treats. I won a £10 Costa Voucher in a recent Facebook Competition. That same week I won a meal for 2 at a local pub who were running a Carribean pop-up that evening, very nice! The following week I had another tag on Facebook to say I'd won the Poundstretcher Easter giveaway of a gift voucher. The prizefinder had said it was for £25 so I'm hoping that one will arrive next week so I can buy some Easter goodies with it. All competitions were found on theprizefinder.com

Keeping an eye out for national days is a great way to find competitions for your favourite themes and products. There are definitely some interesting “days” out there that are very niche!

In February it was National Margarita Day and I won a gift set to make up my perfect cocktail. The prize contained silver tequila, Cointreau, lime, smoked salt and a lovely drinking glass.

During an October Holiday with my family, I decided to enter a few competitions before going to bed, and I’m glad I did. To my delight, the next day I received a message on Instagram letting me know that I was the winner of a 40-minute river cruise and 6 course tasting menu in Oxford.

The only caveat was that this prize had to be taken by the end of November. We quickly set about organising, but struggled to find a time that we were free and we could find someone to stay with the kids. Thankfully Oxford River Cruises were very accommodating, and when we asked if we could extend the prize, they allowed us to take it in March.

We decided to make a weekend of it, with our third child on the way the break was needed. As we were planning the trip, I managed to win £250 with walkers, which we ended up using to pay for the hotels and other meals whilst we were away.

The river cruise was fantastic, and we managed to pick a dry and clear evening. We were kept well stocked up on drinks, and after the boat ride we were treated to our 6 course tasting menu. I was a bit uncertain having looked at the menu, a lot of the food was not what I normally would pick. I was pleasantly surprised, and all the food was phenomenal; it even included caviar! It was a fantastic win.

In March I received a set of beautiful wine glasses from a gift company on Facebook. The glasses are Portmeirion, and have a beautiful bird design on them. I’d only found out by chance that I’d actually won them, when I did a search for my name with the word ‘congratulations’ on Facebook. I found the post saying I’d won but because I’d not actually been tagged it hadn’t come up in my feed, and it had been posted 4 weeks earlier. I messaged the company and expected them to say it was too late, but they were really lovely and honoured the prize and sent it through to me quickly. I took the glasses to my mum’s at the weekend as it was her and my dad’s 50th wedding anniversary, so we used them to raise a toast to their marriage. I love it when a prize can be used in a special way and makes other people happy too xx

I won 4 tickets to go and watch Man Utd ladies vs West Ham, I’ve never been to the ground but I am a big fan plus I won a signed shirt, I had the best day ever and utd won 4-0. I was sat right behind the dug out so my view off the match was amazing, I took some great photos. I took my partner who is a Hugh Utd fan and he hadn’t been to the ground in over 40 years so he was very happy I won. Thanks prizefinder I always enter comps on here, but my last win was in November but just goes to show, got to be in to win it.

This was a lovely surprise today when the doorbell rang and the delivery driver came with this unexpected win from Supersavvy. I haven’t won anything for quite some time so this was great as during a dry spell you often feel like giving up on competitions but this shows me I must keep going. I didn’t get an email or text before hand so this was a complete surprise which was lovely. It contains dishwasher tablets, Bold All in 1 tablets, Fairy Liquid, Febreze, two types of Flash spray, a Flash Dust magnet starter kit, Lenor in- wash scent booster and Febreze Bathroom Air fresheners.

No excuse now to start the spring cleaning.

Hi everyone
I was thrilled to bits to win this lovely Estée Lauder skincare kit worth well over £150.
The competition organiser emailed me to say collect it from their office in central London which was a bit tricky as I live miles away in County Durham!
They were lovely about it though and let me organise a courier to collect it and deliver it to me. My advice would be to check the small print when entering competitions as I just assumed winners would get any prizes sent in the post.

Hello again. I didn’t think I’d be writing to you again so soon after my last letter. After a very long break from comping, I’d had a few nice wins to whet my appetite! Nothing like my previous prize haul won over many years… but still welcomed, all the same. Following on from my Spar/Whyte & Mackay £1500 bottle of whisky, won at the end of last year… I have since won a Regina Blitz Hotel & Spa weekend break. And today, a lovely prize Devon hamper has just arrived, courtesy of sixtyplussurfers for their Star Letter. I’d never have had known about the comp, if it wasn’t for you! Thanks so much. These were a rather welcome from Aurum Comfort on Facebook, the softest fluffy slippers with oh so comfy insoles and decent soles too! How I’ll keep the white I don’t know!

This was a ‘like and share’ competition so nice and easy. I especially like supporting new companies this way.
