I couldn't believe it but I had a large parcel delivered and discovered it was full of baby toys. So I selected some for my grandson for Christmas and then donated the remainder to our church for the mother and baby room.

The day after another box arrived and I have won Micky Mouse club house - another gift for my grandson so now I've already done his Christmas shopping.

I was so really pleased to receive these items as it was going to be a tight Christmas money wise but my grandson is now well kitted out.

This year I've been trying to do more effort competitions.

I came across one on the Very.co.uk Facebook page to strike a 'freeze' pose, as if you were in the middle of doing something e.g dancing or jumping.

I noticed a lot of the entrants were just stood still, posing normally, so I uploaded one dancing in silly glasses. 4 days later I got an email to say I had won!

I could choose a dress of my choice from their website up to the value of £60 plus I'd get a Lee Stafford hair styler worth £50!

The dress I chose came in handy for my birthday night out at the end of November.

i started comping last year with the advent comps, only entering a few a day. I had a few small wins like wine, t-shirts and chocolate, but then my year really did kick off. It started off with things like beauty products then the big ones came in....I won my car insurance paid for a whole year worth up to £700! Then a few days later I won a Delonghi coffee machine through Argos worth £499 (just turned up on my doorstep!) then a canon camera worth £100 (Avis giveaway), and a Sunsense suncare bundle worth £100! All in one month! That kept me going for the rest of the year and I have since won a £75 Red Letter Day voucher, electric toothbrush, plenty of Stella giveaway wins and even a can of Pringles!
I'm still yet to win any cash and that is next year's challenge but I'm so happy with what I have won in a year! Bring on 2014!

I've been entering competitions most evenings since my other half got his latest Call of Duty game and abandoned me for the XBox.
I've been thrilled to bits to have several wins over the last couple of weeks. I've won tickets to the Ideal Home Exhibition, theatre tickets, tickets to see Status Quo, an Asus Tablet and a dress, shoes, bag and necklace.
Now when we've tucked our boys in bed it's me asking him if he wants a quick game on the XBox so I can spend half an hour on ThePrizeFinder.com!

Wow - I found your site on Thursday 5th December and entered a few competitions. I didn't think I would win anything but got a phone call on Friday 6th December. I had won a £100 gift card from Ticketline - I am over the moon - I love going to gigs, events & festivals. I have recently been to see Jake Bugg & have just got back from the Clothes Show at the NEC yesterday. Needless to say - I have got my eye on a couple of gigs in the New Year. After only being signed up to ThePrizeFinder for a handful of days I browsed the closing soon comps. There was one for a Christmas colouring competition hosted by a Facebook page called Seller Dynamics. The colouring in was to be done of a little santa claus and some elves! ThePrizeFinder post stated there was no age limit so I thought why not! I decided to do mine digitally and added and changed parts of it to make it stand out. Today I was very pleased to see I had won first place and there was around 4 runners up who won £10 each. I won a £50 amazon voucher which had already been digitally emailed to me! The other competitors were *slightly* younger than me but I proudly stated my age with my entry and I never would have found this competition without ThePrizeFinder. I can't wait to enter more competitions and I feel so optimistic about entering them after being so lucky already! Thank you :)

I would never have thought that I would win advent calender wins on my birthday, but both myself and hubbie did!!

First I won a koala bear from Cushelle, then I got a WEM (my first in ages) from Kwik-Fit Insurance on Facebook from their 12 days of Christmas promotion. My lovely friends on Facebook had also tagged me in the win which is lovely of them.

Then my husband who has only done a few competitions had a WEM to say he had won the Man of Steel DVD in the Heatworld Christmas promotion on Facebook.

We received the birthday prizes today along with my Aunt Bessies oven glove I won in the last few days of the November daily spin.

After 5 years without winning anything, I won a National Express senior citizens card. I thought it would be another 5 years before I won anything again, but I have just received an email saying I have won a Neal's Yard Hand Cream through the Stella Advent giveaway. I am over the moon as, even though it is a reasonably small win, my 5 year wait seems to have come to an end. Thank you Prizefinder.

I joined ThePrizeFinder.com in June and in August I got an email to say I had won tickets to Beacons festival and a £100 Urban Outfitters voucher. Due to only having 2 days notice, nobody could come with me so I decided to go myself. While I was there I met a lovely chap and since then we have been going out. Thank you very much PrizeFinder!

I always look forward to the Advent Competitions - I always seem to win something, though it's usually been a DVD or a book. I've just heard that I won a £200 Next voucher with Recombu Advent 2013. It's a great way to end what's been a pretty miserable year - I've kept 'comping' but have won very little. Anyway, it'll keep my wife and daughter busy during the January Sales, arguing who gets to spend the money :-). I'll keep entering the competitions, but I'm happy for another year.
