Hello everyone! How was your weekend, any nice wins to report? A few small wins over the last week for me of a Cameron Diaz DVD duo from a SimpleSaver competition on facebook; a children’s baking book from a twitter comp and a Lady Bug night light from a blog competition. I am going to squirrel the book away for my eldest daughter, so that’s another nice gift won and added to the present pile. Have you started comping for Christmas yet, or do you like to leave it until after the Halloween festivities are over? I know a lot of people can’t get excited about the Christmas period until November or later, but I feel the need to get ahead early and as organised as I can during October, before work, school and social activism take over completely!
Do you enjoy the Halloween season – maybe getting dressed up, going trick or treating or hosting a spooky party? As a family Halloween isn’t usually that important for us, but the girls do usually go to the Halloween disco at school and get all dressed up for the occasion. My eldest won’t be going this year unfortunately as she is having her tonsils out on Friday poor thing – hopefully we can have a few treats for her at home to make her not feel so left out. I am sure we will rent a few spooky movies and have some scary treats at home – nothing too blood-curdling though!
If you like to embrace the Halloween season and fancy getting your hand on £50 to spend on dressing up outfits, party supplies or food then why not enter our latest competition exclusive to The PrizeFinder members! Log into your account and leave me a comment below letting me know what you are up to over Halloween and you could be bagging yourself a £50 voucher to spend with Asda. You could get a couple of dressing up outfits for the little ones, stock up on spooky party essentials, or just spend it on the weekly shop – the choice is yours! One entry per person please and please remember that comments are moderated and as such won’t appear immediately. Entries close at 23:59 on Sunday 18th October 2015 and one lucky winner will be drawn at random shortly afterwards.
Happy comping everyone, and lots of Lucky dust to you all!

Myself and my best friend are having a Halloween party at her house :) I'm not allowed one this year as i had one last year so i persuaded her to have one :) I cant wait!! I'm taking all my decorations up to her house tomorrow so we can go through them all!! I have boxes upon boxes of halloween stuff!
eating pumpkin soup!
Nothing special planned this year so will buy some treats and wait to see who arrives at the door.
I like to decorate the house with fake cobwebs, spiders, skeletons, pumpkins etc then have all the family children round for (gentle) scary games and apple bobbing. We also have halloween themed party food. I like to keep it light hearted as I think the ghoulish masks etc available now are a step too far.
not doing anything special I will be watching out for the local children dressed up for trick n treating
Our Halloween spans a few days.....my birthday is on the 29th October and I am off to our local theatre to see the Nutcracker. Saturday night we're out for a meal with friends and Sunday we've got a wee kiddies spooktacular party to go to!!! It's all go
Off to Milan to Expo 2015 so looks like we will be on the Hunt for Legends in the Hills of Langhe and Roero at Monticello Castle, Monticello d’Alba, Province of Cuneo, Piedmont.

I'm going to a friends Halloween party with two of my children
Well I recently got back from DisneyWorld - I had tickets to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party so got dressed up and went trick or treating around the Magic Kingdom - so that's my dressing up done :) I recently won a bundle of horror DVD's which arrived this weekend so my plan for Halloween is to turn the lights out, get out the candy and watch the scary movies :)
Staying in to wait for trick or treaters, and then watch a film later
Going to make some Hallowe'en cakes and put a decent film or two on :D
It's my friends birthday a week later but she will be on holiday - so we are having a birthday/Halloween party
Unfortunately I will be working so my partner and I might just have a spooky movie night in when we have chance!
Great competition, good luck everyone entering.
Trick or treating, apple bobbing and eating lots of toffee apples :)
I will be getting all cosy inside and curling up in front of a ggod (probably not scary!) film
Drinking pumpkin soup

My eldest daughter is away with her dad so I'm taking my youngest ( her first Halloween) to a soft play baby disco
I'm travelling to Leeds to spend the weekend with my university friends and having some fun nights out :D
I am looking forward to Halloween as it is the first half term since my oldest started school and I have missed spending time with him doing fun things so am planning lots of trips to the woods and pumpkin carving and of course dressing up and trick or treating
I plan to attend a local event / party. Dressed in a shop bought skeleton costume. Hope we have lots of Fun.
My daughter has only just started enjoying Halloween, she's asked if she can be a fairy and make spider cakes (not real spiders) and have a midnight feast.
I have entered a competition in my local newspaper to win two tickets for a night of ghost busting at a haunted mansion. I'm not too sure if I actually want to win this now
Our little ones will be dressing up & going trick or treating. I will stock up with treats ready for all the ghosts & skeletons that come to call! Pumpkins planned & Halloween decorations out soon.
