Our April Wins

Submitted by SuperluckyDi on Mon, 2012-04-02 21:58

So, we're a quarter of the way through 2012 already - have you been as successful with the comping as you'd hoped when you made your New Year's resolutions? Some of the prizes you've won have been fabulous! On our March wins post, you reported over £17,000 of prizes, including a couple of unusual ones for SavingJane (a trip to Paris with a private fragrance consultation at Guerlain!) and smartykay (a pair of pants signed by David Beckham!)

I was jealous of Budster's £6000 family holiday to Jordan though - I've always fancied walking in Indiana Jones' footsteps… maybe one day!

I was lucky enough to win one of the prizes on my wish list last week - dinner at the best restaurant in the world (Noma in Copenhagen)! It's when you win a prize like that, you really appreciate what a magical hobby comping is. For those of you yet to win a 'biggie' - don't give up yet, you really never know what's round the corner!

Good luck for April everyone - and don't forget to upload your photos and stories on our Winners' Page to enter our monthly £50 voucher prize draw!

My wins this month:
Maybelline mascara & eyeliner - Facebook video comp
£20 Nottingham Contemporary voucher - local magazine comp
3D TV - Pirates! Facebook video comp
£200 High Street Vouchers - Maybelline video comp
Blackberry Bold - ING Direct prize draw

Total = £1332

Still no joy for me. I did finally get the job I want, though, which frees up about 10 hours a week to split between comping, housework, coursework and sleeping, instead of writing applications.

I had nothing in March but this week i won an Istylista personal style guide £30, a Dyson Hoover from Kitchen Science (FB), unsure of value, and a bag worth £48 filled with jewellery and chocs from Fuse Fashion (FB). It just proves that if you keep going you will win at some point. Happy comping to you all and good luck x

Hi, some of you might recognise me from the old prizefinder forum, but as that's no longer available, I thought this was probably the best place to post my comment. I haven't been on the website or entered any competitions since august last year, as I have been very ill, however I am now on the mend, and so I can't wait to get cracking on some competitions! :-) Good luck to all you fellow compers, lets hope for some big wins this month!

So far this month the Postman has brought me:
1 pack of freshly knitted shreddies.
1 x £10 Tesco Voucher from unilever
1 x £50 Fuel voucher from motors.co.uk
1 x Frijj T-Shirt.

I love the randomness of the wins.

I've had an Italian themed week this week with 2 wins.
first was some extra virgin olive oil and the second was some Italian cheese. Was hoping to make it 3 in a row with a nice little Italian sports car but I'll just have to keep dreaming.
