Share Your February Wins

Hello everyone! How is your week going, any nice wins to report?  Congratulations – you have made it through the slowest comping month of the year, well done!  I don’t know about you but that’s the first time I have seen the word “congratulations” for some time, and I am very much looking forward to starting to see it again soon!  January was an appalling month for me for prizes, as I only managed to bag myself two in total!  I won a Harry Potter Golden Snitch ornament from a Twitter comp, as well as a surprise book from Primary Times that turned up unannounced.  To be fair it  been a very busy month for work and school activities, so if I am being honest with myself I probably didn’t comp as much as I should have – must do better this month!

Now let’s take a little look at what everyone else has been winning during January 2018:

Mapleacorn had a great start to the month by winning a lovely Feather & Down Calming Candle - a super relaxing way to start a new comping year!  Sarat had a brilliant winning start by bagging a Delamare Dairy hamper including cheese goodies, a bottle of wine and a cuddly toy!  She also won some goodies for her new baby including a special photoshoot and a Shnuggle Dreami cot - what a brilliant haul!  Villagefox continued her winning ways this month and told us about some lovely prizes including a bath time bundle from Zimpli kids on Twitter and a set of HogWars drones that her son won – looks like someone has got some lovely goodies to come on their next birthday!  Beccyj had a great winning time  this month when she snagged herself three prizes including a hamper for her cats from Waitrose, a kettle & toaster from Euronics on Instagram and a Sonos soundbar from Heart FM – that’s a great selection of prizes!  Joanneminky managed to have her best January ever, despite some of us having a dry spell!  The goodies she won over January included £50 to spend at Button & Wild, £40 of hair care products, a Ruby Heart crystal ring and a £10 Amazon voucher – wow, well done you!

I think my favourite prize-winning post this month comes from Lizzie456 who won her family a brilliant break to Sherwood Forest!  The prize included other extras too including a yummy high tea and tickets to an animal park!  These are the kind of prizes I would really like to win – something that the whole family can enjoy together and that maybe I wouldn’t buy out of my own pocket.  I hope you and your family thoroughly enjoyed the experience!

So, as you can see some people were still very lucky in January and managed to win some lovely prizes, so take heart!  January is over now, and we can move on with a fresh month and a clean page in the comping prize list – time to roll up those sleeves and dive into your comping for the month!

Do let us know how you get on with your February comping; we love to read your winners’ stories!  Don’t forget to upload a photo of your wins too for a chance to win a £50 voucher here.

I look forward to hopefully being able to share more of my own wins next month, and to reading all about yours!

Happy comping everyone, and lots of Lucky dust to you all!

Kirsty x

My son was pleased to open an envelope addressed to himself containing a National History Museum Dinosaur model kit in a tin. I had no complements slip but as it was addressed to my son I think it would have been a children's magazine win.

Two big parcels arrived this morning for my granddaughter. All girly stuff a karaoke machine, disco lights, three boxes of activities with cosmetics, nail polishes, and much much more courtesy of My Girl magazine from your competition pages. Thank you so much for your help. I have a photo but can’t upload it.

Beginners luck I'm sure but on top of the Classic Car Show tickets won through the Basingstoke Gazette, I also yesterday found out I had won £250 worth of art from a competition on Emerald Street and also the BFI Girlfriends season competition which consists of a goodie bag containing £100 worth of Tatty Devine jewellery and 10 tickets to go and see films at the BFI Southbank. All thanks to theprizefinder !!
