Share Your June Wins

Hello again everyone, how is your week going; any nice wins to report?  Okay, so here we are AGAIN in another month, and this time it’s a biggie – June!  June marks the start of the summer months, longer evenings, warmer days and getting close to the summer holidays.  It feels like we are a good portion through the year now, and there are some fun months to come!

May was a pretty quiet month for me, but I did manage to win two rather nice prizes.  I won a bundle of Ultrasun sun care goodies from The Suncare Shop on Twitter worth about £60 – this will be ideal for our summer holiday that we have booed for July.  However, my BEST prize came just before this – a VIP family trip to Legoland with Magic FM!  My family and I ended up on the radio talking live to Ronan Keating, answering some easy questions and winning ourselves a fantastic trip with dinner, a stay in the swish themed Castle hotel, Lego goodies and VIP tickets – all worth approaching the £2,000 mark!  What a lovely treat this will be during the summer holidays!

Enough about me, let’s see what some of our lovely members have been winning during May 2018:

May seems to have been a very quiet month for lots of our members, but we did get to hear about some fab wins.  Mapleacorn managed to bag a Premium Bond cash prize this month, but other than that had the quietest month ever!  Beccyj told us that her little girl had won a fantastic £50 Curry’s & PC World voucher as a runner up prize from a Hotpoint recipe competition – what a great win!  Joan had a quiet month too but did manage to win a Tetra Minion Aquarium from Mother & Baby Magazine, and her husband bagged a travel kit from Ergonmad – the foremost comping couple strike again, well done!  Villagefox won herself a few great prizes this month including a family ticket to Cadbury World, a month’s local gym pass and a movie prize bundle & cinema tickets from a local shopping centre comp – some great summer holiday treats to come there!

Don’t’ worry if you seem to be going through a dry spell too – that next big win could be just around the corner, as my Magic FM win will show you!  Keep at it, stay motivated and stay focused!

Do let us know how you get on with your June comping; we love to read your winners’ stories!  Don’t forget to upload a photo of your wins too for a chance to win a £50 voucher here.

I look forward to hopefully being able to share more of my own wins next month, and to reading all about yours!

Happy comping everyone, and lots of Lucky dust to you all!

Kirsty x

Won my first ever Twitter win! A trip to London this Sunday for a secret cinema experience with a a ‘bespoke boat ride’ up the Thames beforehand... however I couldn’t make it on Sunday and I’m gutted but my workmate thought it sounded amazing, so I explained I couldn’t make it and could I gift it to him instead and they said yes!! He’s made up! Love winning prizes but i also love it when my friends and family can benefit too!

Yippee after a no-win May, June's looking up! I've won four weekend camping tickets to Black Deer Festival on 22 to 24 June; one-to-one cooking lesson with US barbecue expert Ray ‘Dr. BBQ’ Lampe; a Weber Kettle BBQ and stater kit; and a signed copy of Fired Cookbook by Jon Finch & Ben Merrington all through a Foodism competition.

After mopping that I hadn't won anything in May - I've subsequently won ANOTHER 2 pairs of tickets to things this week. I won tickets to the Vintage Cycling Revival at Herne Hill through Jazz FM - and more excitingly for my step daughter- a pair of tickets to see Taylor Swift at Wembley through List Magazine. Chuffed beyond belief
