The start of this Month was not that great, Not only had I not had a win in a while but more seriously I suffered a fairy bad TIA (Mini Stroke). It was a very scary and worrying time especially as I already have epilepsy, M.E and I am a wheelchair user I didn't need anything else wrong with me.

But lady luck was looking down and what ever caused the TIA resolved it's self and I recovered my speech and movement fully. I was so happy to be back to my self and felt so lucky things where not worse.

I realised I was being silly getting upset not winning comps, if it happened it happened, I should just enjoy my fab hobby of comping and relax.
Then the day I got home from the Hospital I had a package waiting of an unexpected prize from Yardley that I won from a Bounty comp and also a WEM to say I had won a pair of tickets to the Good Food Show, somewhere I had always wanted to go.
Since then my luck's changed for the better. I have had lot's of WEM's the last few days and some nice little wins....But If my luck changes again it's ok, I am still going to enjoy this great hobby, after all sometimes it's when you stop wanting them so much that the wins start coming.

I started doing competitions in a small way at the end of last year, then found theprizefinder in March this year. I started slowly, then got into the stride of doing the closing soon comps in order of finishing date, working my way through and only entering for things I wanted to win. Three months and over two thousand competitions later, I still had not won. Then, out of the blue I got an email saying I'd won 12 bottles of Schloer raspberry & rhubarb punch from mumofone. Then a few days later, I had a phone call from Heart FM, saying I'd won an iPod!! I've never won anything before, but this proves that with determination - and the help of theprizefinder - anyone can win! Thanks theprizefinder!

I got my very first win in the post today,
Comping everyday not a win in sight,
Not about to give up without a great big fight,

So it was worth comping every day,

After 4 months of comping I have a mug on its way and a hobby that keeps my brain matter going after having to give up work.

My prize has just arrived.....I'm so proud!!!!!

After a long run of winning absolutely nothing, my comping morale was getting very low! Then one random afternoon I received an email saying I had won a VIP day out for myself and three friends to watch England v Barbarians at Twickenham in a box. It was a terrific day: great sunshine, lots of excellent free food and just a couple (!) of glasses of wine all on the house. We felt like royalty for the day! The game was very exciting and we even got to meet a couple of the players afterwards. All in all a superb day out and all for free! What a win!

Despite my lack of wins in the earlier months of this year, I decided to carry on comping. Much to my delight I won a brand new Carrera mountain bike worth £550 from a Facebook comp. I then won a Google Nexus 7 also from a Facebook comp sweepstake. I started comping just over a year ago and have been very lucky so far winning a KitchenAid Mixer, Dvd's, Hair Goodies, X-box games, Le Cruset, £1000 and lots of smaller wins. My advice is never give up, a win maybe just around the corner!

I have been a member for just over six years now, have never won a biggy yet but manage to win a few small ones on a regular basis.
Still get such a big thrill when a winning email or message turns up.
Thanks to this great site I have not only got addicted to such a great hobby, but I have also managed to find an amazing group of people who share the hobby and I am happy to call my friends.

I won VIP Isle of Wight Festival tickets with camping with the Daily Star. I could not be more thrilled as I have a friend who lives in Ryde. She and I are going together and I am looking forward to the main headliners, Stone Roses, The Killers and Boomtown Rats. The prize includes backstage seating in the VIP tent and a special VIP only backstage buggy ride. I hope the weather is great. Thank you Prizefinder!

I've been on The Prize Finder for quite a few years and have won quite a few prizes in the past - A holiday with Brittany Ferries, A Playstation 3, Make Up, a signed Football Shirt. I then stopped doing it for a bit but have taken it up again over the past year or so and last December I won £500 to spend on Cox & Cox, an imitation pearl necklace and £100 to spend on Bank Fashion. I then won a Corset in February. Since then it's been a bit quiet with just a few little wins, A Mr Pritt soft toy from Pritt Stick, 3 Stella Glasses, A box of All Bran and last week I won a box of assorted Charcoal sticks from Derwent and a Zebra pen on the Magic Freebies Facebook game. They are only little wins but they spur me on and hopefully soon I'll win some big prizes again.

This week I was over the moon after recieving an email saying that I was to recieve a pair of centre court tickets at Aegon International in Eastbourne.
I have been entering comps for a few months and this is my first win!! Hopefully I get a bigger one soon.

Having just returned home from my luxury 5 star holiday to New York City, I started looking for my next holiday. After only a couple of days, Bingo, that email came in and I discovered I had managed to bag a luxury forest lodge holiday with outdoor hot tub for 4 people. Happy days are here again!

Last year I received £25,000 of goods and £20,600 cash - now Im back on track and the wins are starting again. Fingers crossed another biggie is just around the corner!

I can't think of any other hobby which provides my family and I with the experiences, holidays and cash that comping brings me - its literally life changing.

I've been to Holland, Austria, Switzerland, USA, Spain and France in the last couple of years; travelled on The Orient Express, met famous people, been on TV, had hotel breaks, meals out, received electrical goods, clothes, been to concerts and had thousands of pounds in cash; All thanks to you guys!

Reading about other peoples success also spurs me on and so do keep your letters coming in, I love reading them.

In the meantime, I'm going to roll up my towel and head out to that hot tub and chill!
