The ongoing Cadburys competition to win vouchers for places like legoland has been fun. Our we going to win the four London eye tickets we are after ? Maybe not how about Chessington World say Cadburys. Nope kids are to old for that one. The chatterbox forum has been rife with 'swops' l managed to donate two lego discovery tickets to a member wanting to take her grandchildren. The weekly prize of four tickets to winter wonderland and four hot chocolates which l managed to win would cost less that two tickets to Alton Towers. It is a odd comp but plenty of prizes and you can enter twenty times so a great chance of winning. Legoland with its amazing unicorn was a hit with Alice.

I have just had a delivery of 19 books which I won on a competition I saw here on the prize finder. It was run by Penguin Random House and as well as the great selection of books I also won a voucher for £250 to spend on paint or wallpaper from Little Green.
The books will be great to keep me reading over the Autumn/Winter and I will hopefully use the voucher to redecorate my kitchen and dining room.

I have only won small things recently so this prize is the biggest in a very long time. 📦📕

I have had quite the break from entering competitions due to life and having a long no prizes spell. But a recent medical problem made me think about starting to enter again. So last month just to keep myself busy and also try and take my mind off the pain I started entering again. Today I had an email from the home and country magazine to say I'd won a weekend away worth over £1200!! Included is all food, drinks and 2 nights away. I’m so excited and have never won such a big prize before. I usually only win small things but am always grateful for any win. What a way to get back into competitions Thanks to prize finder for having the competition available and making it so easy to enter. Hopefully this is a start to some more wins in the future and what a way to end a streak of no wins.

About time, I was due a win, been constantly entering hundreds every night I must do about 100 to 200 online comps been coming now since last September. Only had 3 wins so was made up to open a letter today saying I had won from Thats Life magazine with enclosed cheque. Hip hip hurray. I must admit I'm getting so so very fed up doing these competitions but I am addicted. I have to enter every night I am deffo deffo must be due a big win. I've won this £50 then about 5 months ago won £500 and an air fryer and a shelving rack.

I was very lucky to win with Walkers Shortbread people on Instagram.
I received 2 bags full of mini shortbread treats, which were perfect for our family trips to the beach. A pack of raspberries and white chocolate cookie which were devine. A 500ml flash which - to be perfect honest actually did keep hot drinks hot for nearly 18 hours and cold drinks cold for over 12 hours.
A massive umbrella which - as we know comes on handy for the British summer. Big enough to cover me and both my daughters, and 2 fabulous Walker bags which again came in so handy to keep our goodies in for our beach days.

I was delighted to hear from Good Housekeeping Magazine in July that I was one of the lucky winners of some plants from Thompson and Morgan. And today they arrived! Three “plug” plants so popped them in tubs pdq before the promised rain later.

They are called Alstroemeria Plants, worth over £35, or Peruvian Lillies. The variety is called Indian Summer. I wish I could show you the beautiful orange flowers and bronze foliage they produce, but that will have to wait until next year - they flower June to November. There are three of them, so should be stunning. A prize that will keep on giving year after year, fingers crossed!

In August I won a giveaway on Instagram run by Yorkshire Crisps to celebrate Yorkshire Day. Living in Yorkshire I was very pleased to win this prize! I won a very generous box of 9 large tubs of Yorkshire crisps (I was only expecting 3 tubs to arrive!) and 2 large bottles of vodka - a plain vodka and a rhubarb vodka. It’s a really lovely surprise when a company is more generous than you’re expecting with a prize! The crisps and vodka have gone down very well at family get togethers in August and also on our caravan holiday! Thank you Prize Finder for your brilliant listings xxx

Thanks to the prizefinders closing soon section I discovered DFS were running a competition to win £5500 to spend on their range. I was stuck in bed at the time with COVID and I entered not expecting much but to my surprise I received a message just 2 days later telling me I had won! It certainly made met feel a lot better. I was over the moon. As soon as I could I rushed to my nearest showroom to choose my new sofas. From the money I was able to order 2 sofas, 2 beds, a smart desk, coffee table and new cushions!! This really handy back pack arrived last week. It will be great for bringing things to the beach in. Love really practical prizes like this.
To win you had to buy some peanut butter, which I put in the food bank. So that's a win win.
Now trying to win back to school things. So I am going through the listings for kids. Usually lots just around this time of year, So I am putting of buying everything until the very last minute. You just never know do you. A win could be on the way as I speak(type)
