Hello everyone!  A very Happy New Year to you all!   Hope you had a great Christmas and are ready for get going in a brand new comping year!  Those seasoned compers amongst you will know that January is often a really quiet month for comps, so it is a great time to take stock of your comping and refocus.  To celebrate the start of this wonderful New Year The PrizeFinder are launching our ever-popular Lucky New Year competition for all our lovely members.

Every day from now until 7th January 2016 we will be running a 24 hour competition to win a £10 Amazon voucher – one available to win each day.  There will be a variety of entry methods from blog comments, Facebook, Twitter, creative and Pinterest, and you can enter once per day for the duration of the promotion.  At the end of the seven days everyone who has entered at least one of the daily competitions will also be entered into the main prize draw to win a cheque for £100

Let’s kick off with a simple competition to find out what your comping resolutions are for 2016.  Maybe you would like to get into creative comps, try some new social media or just up the quantity of comps you enter.  For me I want to get more organised and enter those comps I am really interested in first, before going on to anything else if time allows.  To enter simply register with us for free or log in to your account and leave me a comment below.  Entries close at 23:59 tonight (1st January 2016) so get thinking!

Don’t forget that every entry you make into the daily Lucky New Year competitions gets you one entry into the Grand Prize Draw for £100!

Happy comping everyone, and lots of Lucky dust to you all!

Kirsty x

I'm already putting mine into practice. Only entering competitions for prizes I want to win :-) For example I don't have a DVD player so I've been leaving those to give others a bigger chance to win. I would however like a Go Pro and other gadgets so I've been focusing on comps with those prizes :D

I want to master pinterest comps and to learn how to tag people. I have done a few pinterest comps but no luck yet and am not sure how many pins to enter but will keep trying. I just love comping, such a productive hobby and you meet so many lovely people too, win win.

My comping resolution is to enter more comps, I enter for a day or two and then lose interest. My motto this year is "you have to be in it to win it" and oldy but a goody. Thank you for the comp and Happy New Year

I don't like entering instagram comps, mainly as I don't really understand how they work, they just seem to be "re gram" which I can only do on a re gram app on the iPad, as I comp mainly on my PC I just tend to skip them. However, more and more comps are turning instagram so I need to get organised and try doing some.

I intend to search out some of those cmopetitions that require effort and creativity well in advance of closing and give myself the time to come up with appropraite responses.

I plan to make the effort to do at least 30 comps a day. I would love to say 50 but I'm not sure that's realistic. This is my 3rd today!

I hate making resolutions as rarely ever stick to them but comping wise I'm going to be even more selective in what I enter and focus more on trying to win the things I have on my wish list x

For me its to win some nice day trips and event things , Im saving for a deposit for a mortgage this year which will take every penny I have so anything that I can have to spend on myself and give me things to look forward to will be great .

I plan to start this year by making a list of the items I'd like to win for myself and my family/friends and then bookmark all the best websites/companies that run competitions that I'd be interested in and then check in with them regularly. Prize finder is definitely one of my bookmarked websites

After working sooo hard the past month and winning only one prize, it made me realized, it's time to try after comping avenues like Pinterest and Twitter which, frankly, I don't understand how they work so, this just might be the way forward.

To concentrate on trying to win things that my family really need or would love and not get side-tracked on entering competitions just because they're there!

Try to do more blog comps and make more comments, also have a go on comps that involve some effort, too easy to just ignore them and not even read what they ask you to do.
